Sherry McNeil Named New President & CEO of the Canadian Franchise Association
The Canadian Franchise Association's Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Sherry McNeil to President & CEO, effective November 26, 2018. Record Attendance at the Franchise Canada Show in Toronto
For the first time ever, the CFA held its Toronto Franchise Canada Show at the Enercare Centre at Exhibition Place. With the new venue and increased digital and social media promotion, we saw our highest attendance in over 10 years with nearly 3,500 attendees. We thank all exhibitors, sponsors, speakers and attendees for helping us make this a record-setting show! Renew Your Membership Online
Membership renewals for the 2018-2019 membership year are due at the end of this month. You can mail in your renewal form and payment, or renew and pay online through the CFA's Self-Serve Area. Fees are due by October 31, 2018 and we'll need confirmation of your intention to renew by this Friday, October 19th in order to list your company as a CFA member in the 2019 Franchise Canada Directory. Growth Hack Boot Camp Rescheduled for 2019 National Convention
The CFA's Growth Hack Boot Camp has been rescheduled to take place prior to our 2019 National Convention in Niagara Falls. The Boot Camp will take place on April 5 & 6 at Sheraton on the Falls, immediately followed by the National Convention from April 7-9. Stay tuned for more details.

Help Us Celebrate Women in Franchising
The CFA wants to learn more about women in franchising and the role female franchisees play in your system. You can help us by sending statistics on the ratio of male to female franchisees in your system and by sharing your female franchisee success stories. Statistics and story submissions can be sent to the CFA's editor, Andrew Schopp at aschopp@cfa.ca no later than Friday, October 26.
